John J. Cordes
President & CEO, OSHA Specialist
The founder and chief enthusiast of Rightway Consulting, Inc., John hails from the frozen tundra of Buffalo, NY (Go Bills... maybe next year?). After surviving the winters and earning a degree from the University at Buffalo, he bravely ventured to Chicago in 2000, where he founded his compliance empire.
With over 25 years of deciphering the cryptic texts of OSHA and HIPAA (basically, he speaks fluent "regulation"), John has spent 15 glorious years wrangling dental offices into compliance. He is an active member of the National Safety Council, a Certified HIPAA Professional (yes, that's a real thing), and an OSHA Authorized Outreach Safety Trainer for General Industry (he can make safety sound almost exciting).
When he's not saving the world from regulatory chaos, John can be found hanging out with his canine companions, chasing the horizon in his Jeep, or attempting to find inner peace amidst the vast, otherworldly salt flats of Nevada (where he also checks for alien compliance). He's still trying to figure out if his dogs understand HIPAA.
Greg T. Covelli
Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP)
Born and raised in Elmhurst, IL, Greg is Rightway Consulting's Compliance Wrangler, journeyed to the wilds of Michigan, earning a double major from Calvin College (because one major just wasn't enough).
Landing at Rightway Consulting, Greg quickly became the go-to guru for all things Right-to-Know. He's mastered the art of deciphering chemical safety, turning complex regulations into practical solutions. He's also a Certified HIPAA Professional, fluent in the arcane language of Privacy and Security Rules, and a whiz at breach mitigation (he basically speaks HIPAA, too).
When he's not navigating the maze of regulatory compliance, Greg embraces the open road and the great outdoors. He's a Jeep Wrangler aficionado, tackling the rugged trails of the Colorado Rockies, always searching for the next scenic vista. Closer to home, he cultivates a thriving garden, proving his dedication to both adventure and meticulous care.
